What is #BlazerFresh? GoNoodle’s
newest, nerdiest hop hip trio hits classrooms on September 12th! Rap and move
your body along to songs about lines and angles, reading with expression, and a
variety of other educational topics.
About Blazer Fresh
With
funky hip hop beats and easy to learn dance moves, Blazer Fresh gets
kids moving and learning all at once! All of the Blazer Fresh songs are based
on a topic that was specifically chosen by an educator for both curricular
value and for how well it integrates with movement, physical activity, and
kinesthetic learning. For example, as they sing and dance along, kids can make
angles and lines with their arms; clap out syllables, and act out patterns.
With songs from Blazer Fresh, students don't just learn as they move; they
learn through their movements!
Each song focuses on a single topic or skill, across a variety of
subjects including math, ELA, science and social studies. Blazer Fresh's songs
also serve as ideal learning mnemonics; students can better absorb and retain
information as they sing along to the memorable lyrics and dance along with the
corresponding movements.
WHEN: Monday, September 12th (ALL Day)
What do we need from YOU (ALL GPe Staff): We need you to get Blazer Fresh by WEARING a Blazer for the kids as a way to launch using GoNoodle in your classrooms!
Who-Whoo participates: This will be a SCHOOL-WIDE initiative. Let's bring FUN to Greenspoint! Teachers who participate will get pop-up visits to their classroom for a little GoNoodle Fun!
HOW to participate: Take 5 minutes at any point in the day to take a GoNoodle BrainBreak! Snap an image of the FUN! That's it!!!

I'm looking for my old school blazer with the shoulder pads so that I can represent, lol! I think this is a shoulder pad challenge.
